Puri Jagannath refers to the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, dedicated to Lord Jagannath (a form of Vishnu) and his siblings, Balabhadra and Subhadra, known for unique wooden idols and the spectacular Ratha Yatra festival; it's a major Hindu pilgrimage site and architectural marvel with tribal roots, famous for its inclusive worship and the mysterious Brahma Padartha (Krishna's heart) within the idols, replaced during Nabakalebara.
Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Kolkata
Arrival at Kolkata Airport / Railway Station, meet our driver and transfer to hotel. After refreshment, visit Victoria Memorial, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Howrah Bridge. Evening at Prinsep Ghat. Dinner and overnight stay at Kolkata.
Day 02: Kolkata Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for full-day sightseeing covering Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Belur Math, Indian Museum, Kalighat Temple and New Market. After that back to hotel, have dinner & Overnight stay at Kolkata.
Day 03: Kolkata – Puri (By Train / Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to railway station / airport for onward journey to Puri. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Evening free at Puri Beach. Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 04: Puri – Konark – Bhubaneswar
After breakfast, visit Jagannath Temple. Later drive to Konark Sun Temple (UNESCO site) and Chandrabhaga Beach. Continue to Bhubaneswar, check-in have dinner and overnight stay at Bhubneshwar.
Day 05: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing
After breakfast, Visit Lingaraj Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Rajarani Temple and Dhauli Shanti Stupa. Back to hotel, after refreshed have dinner & Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
Day 06: Bhubaneswar – Kolkata Departure (441Km / 08-09 Hrs approx.)
This is the last day of your tour. After breakfast, transfer to airport / railway station for return to Kolkata for onward journey.
