Itinerary

Day - 1 ( Haridwar - JoshimathÂ (267 km/9 hr approx) )

Pick up from Haridwar, drive to Joshimath.Â Via Devprayag you can explore the three major confluences -Â Devprayag, Rudraprayag and KarnaprayagÂ and then proceed towards Joshimath. On Reach check inn into hotel Dinner and overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day - 2 ( Joshimath - Govindghat - Ghangari(21km/55 min)- (13kms trek) )

After breakfast depart to Govindghat.Â En-route visitÂ Narsingh Temple, and Adi Shankaracharya MathÂ at Joshimath,Â & drive to Govindghat via Pulna and Bhyundar village, it is the start point for the trek of 13kms to Ghangaria. On arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. GovindghatÂ is a town inÂ Chamoli District, Uttarakhand located at the confluence of the AlaknandaÂ rivers. It lies around roughly 22 kilometres (14Â mi) from Joshimath on NH58 at an altitude of 6,000 feet (1,800 metres). It is the roadhead on the way to ShreeÂ BadrinathÂ yatra - One of the important places of worship of HindusÂ and the starting point for trekking toÂ Hemkund SahibÂ andÂ Valley of FlowersÂ Hundreds of people, mostlyÂ Hindu pilgrims to ShreeÂ Badrinath.

Day - 3 ( Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib- Ghangaria (6 km trek approx.) )

After breakfast, start your trek to Hemkund Sahib. Visit the famous Gurdwara, and explore Local market. Later trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner and overnight stay at Ghangaria. Hemkund SahibÂ formally known as Gurudwara is aÂ sikhÂ place of worship and pilgrimage site inÂ Chamoli District, UttarakhandÂ It is devoted toÂ Guru Gobind SinghÂ (1666â€“1708), the tenthÂ Sikh Guru, and finds mention inÂ Dasam Granth. With its setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks, each adorned by aÂ Nisan sahibÂ on its cliff, it is according to the Survey of India located in theÂ HimalayasÂ at an elevation of 4,160 meters (13,650 feet).

Day - 4 ( Ghangaria - Josihmath (17 kms approx.) )

In morning after breakfast drive for Joshimath. On Arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 5 ( Joshimath -Haridwar (267 km/9 hr approx) )

After breakfast, depart by toÂ HaridwarÂ via Srinagar Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Rishikesh. En-route visit the Confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River which is called Devprayag. After drive drop Haridwar. Trip end with sweet memories
