Today early morning get ready and it will be most exciting day of your entire you, Star trekking to Mata Vaishno devi main temple which 14kms from Katra at the Trikuta Mountains, Mata Vaishno devi temple or Mata rani temple is one of Holiest temple in India, Vaishno devi is Hindu Temple dedicated to the Goddess Vaishnavi other form of Goddess Durga. Katra to Vaishno Devi trekking normally takes 4-5 hrs each way, you have to get yatra parchi or yatra token in Katra before trekking. Post Mata Vaishno Devi darshan don't forget to visit Bhairo Baba Temple because without that Mata Rani Darshan is incomplete, you can use now cable car to reach Bhairo Baba Temple, Post Darshan return back to hotel in Katra for night stay.
Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Amritsar (250 Kms/4-5 Hours) which is spritual centre of Sikhism and home to Shri Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple). Visit India-Pakistan Wagah border and watch the famous retreat ceremony which is performed at this place every evening before sunset. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
After breakfast, visit famous Golden Temple which has a unique Sikh architecture. It is built at a level lower than the surrounding land level and has four gates. Later, visit Jallian Wala Bagh which is adjacent to Golden Temple. Jallian Wala Bagh houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 to commemorate the massacre of peaceful celebrators on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919.
